Clyde Williams
The artist,
Pittsburgh-born Clyde Williams, has always had a deep appreciation
for God’s beautiful, freely-given creation, but there
is much more man-made ugliness resulting from the world’s
adoption of mass values. This artist looks out across the
awkward and sometimes gross scene and captures content from
the flux of experience. The work of art is a synthesis of
thought, feeling and action. The work is offered for contemplation,
free from materialistic demands and selfish motives. Whether
received by many or few, it is a symbol of the wonder of life.
Clyde’s works hang in private collections
in Chicago; Nashville; Tucson; Malawai, Africa; and, of course,
Pittsburgh.
